Stone Veneer & Cultured Stone

Thin stone veneer and cultured stone are becoming very popular in homes and commercial building. I’ve noticed many restaurants in Ottawa install veneer around the front entrances and to cover columns.

Today you can purchase many different styles of veneer panels and the same can be said for cultured stone. As most products can be purchased locally, we recommend that you do some online browsing and pick out a few selections that you like before requesting an estimate.

Cultured stone is a lightweight man-made product. You can find a wide variety of colours and styles, all giving you the natural stone look and feel. Over the years, the quality and look of these products has improved greatly.  Many people wouldn’t even know it was a man-made product.

The fireplace and foundation outside seen in the following pictures have been covered with cultured stone. This project was completed several years ago. I also covered the chimney with the same stone but can’t find any pictures for some reason.
